The Systems Analyst will be responsible for detailed/expert analysis, development, testing, investigation and correction of production problems for Oracle E-Business Suite (Financial Management System), Hyperion and OBIA/OBIEE applications and other applications as required. This assignment is for daily application support work and is not project based. Working under the direction of the Information Management Services Manager, the responsibilities of the Systems Analyst will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Follow policies and work processes of the Application and Information Management Services Branch;
• Responsible for request processing and the quality control, maintenance, change management, support and administration of production systems as assigned by Team Lead;
• Perform analysis and programming on E-Business Suite (Financial Management System), Hyperion and OBIA/OBIEE requests, ensuring availability and integrity;
• Recommend technical and functional solutions in supporting E-Business Suite (Financial Management System) Modules including:
-Accounts Receivable
-Accounts Payable
-General Ledger
-Order Entry
-Fixed Assets
-Cash Management
-Systems Administration
-Project Costing
-E-Tax Module
-Advanced Collections
• Design and develop customizations, personalizations and add-ons for Oracle E-Business Suite;
• Work with BI Publisher (XML), Oracle Reports, Blitz Reports, APEX, Interfaces and Workflows;
• Assist with Administration, Essbase MAXL scripting, ODI Interface development and performance tuning for Hyperion’s Planning, Financial Management and Financial Reporting modules.
• Provide technical architecture analysis to plan and implement patching and upgrades for Oracle E-Business Suite and Hyperion Applications and databases;
• Understand the business needs and problems of the organization/client and recommend, define and implement appropriate technical and functional solutions to resolve these issues;
• Work closely with clients to determine the scope of required modifications to E-Business Suite, Hyperion and OBIA/OBIEE to allow for multiple organizational use of existing solutions;
Liaise with Oracle support in logging and analyzing tickets;
• Create and modify code, screens and reports according to published standards while taking into consideration the Information Management and Information Protection requirements of the system;
• Verify accuracy and completeness of programs by using sample data and testing them by means of unit, functional, integration, system and user acceptance testing;
• Write and update operational instructions and system documentation including test plans, implementation plans, OPMs, DR plans, Network Diagrams.

• Post-secondary education (2+ year program) in business, computer science, or a related field from a recognized institution
• Minimum 3 years experience implementing and supporting Hyperion applications
• Minimum of 7 years technical experience programming in Oracle PL/SQL
• Minimum of 7 years technical experience with all Oracle E-Business Suite modules
