- Responsible for procurement planning and forecasting of both progress and cost, reporting to management and Client
- Accountable for procurement process within the project, accountable for deliveries from Category procurement
- Must have good overview of all procurement related tasks, and be able to motivate coworkers
- Good understanding of project procurement cost drivers, and ability to explain and give advice for decision making
- Provide training and mentoring to junior buyers on procurement related issues
- Accountable(and sometime Responsible) for inquiries, bid clarification process, tender evaluation and selection of subcontractors
- Negotiation and follow-up of the procurement activities with the subcontractors
- Drafting and/or review of subcontracts
- Expediting including Subcontract change management, including following changes in schedule and cost, and issuance of Variation Orders
- Keeping POs updated at all times in ERP-system
- Subcontract administration, including reporting, invoice management, certificate handling and close-out formalization
- Source and pre-qualify new suppliers for new types on project needs in accordance with Supplier Quality policy
- Ensuring that all goods and services required are in place for vessel offshore operations
- Responsible for booking of services on basis of Frame Agreements,
- Understand the Total Cost of Ownership for project and act to reduce it by coordinating the team of engineering, project management and category

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain / Project Procurement
- Ability to cope with stress and high workload
- Flexibility, dedication and passion for working in multi disciplinary environement.
- Commercial mindset and proven negotiation skills
- Self-driven, good at analyzing a task, and planning required sub-tasks
- Ability to take initiative and at execution in accordance with plan
- Excellent communication and team player skills
- Specific education within supply chain / procurement / contract strategy / logistics / engineering / finance
- Knowledge within project purchasing within the Subsea, Offshore or Oil and Gas Industry
- Knowledge of subcontract management
- Knowledge of the Norwegian/Scandinavian language
- Good verbal and written English
