The Project Engineer is central to the successful execution of new build and retrofit EGC projects. This is achieved in partnership with the Project Manager, and through coordination and oversight of technical details throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires a genuine interest in marine technology, good attention to detail and the ability to multi task in a structured and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities
- Participate in and coordinate basic and detailed design
- Develop and deliver technical specifications for procurement
- Control and monitor supplier performance and delivery to customers
- Participate in and coordinate testing and commissioning activities
- Assist the Project Manager with the management of projects, particularly in terms of quality and risk
- Prepare and manage technical information and documentation
- Report, communicate, and discuss technical matters internally, with customers and suppliers
- Independently manage simpler customer projects
- Complete other tasks as required by the Project Manager

Customer Project Execution. Delivery of assigned projects to organisational and customer expectations:
- Timeliness: On time delivery of engineering documentation and material components
- Cost: Project execution within budget
- Quality: Material delivery correct in terms of quantity and nonconformities

Internal Project Execution and Development.
- Contribution to non customer projects within Exhaust Gas Cleaning (EGC )and Project Execution
- Contribution to the development of own team, the Project Execution Department and EGC

Technical education (at minimum degree level) in a relevant field – process, mechanical, electrical, automation

- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Self-motivated to deliver results, is prepared to take initiative and make decisions where appropriate
- Structured and efficient, yet is also consistently accurate and attentive to the detail
- Flexible, positive, curious and willing to learn
- Willing to travel internationally, if required
- Is interested in progression to project management role

Professional Skills
- Some relevant experience is beneficial, preferably in the marine industry

- Good coordination and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a distributed project team

Duration ASAP - expected to be to at least mid 2020 and gradually reduce to end 2020
