- Work as a Technical Safety Discipline Responsible Engineer in the Area teams.
- Preparation of input to safety drawings (i.e. escape routes and safety equipment layouts, active fire protection drawings, fire detection area plot plans, fire partition drawings)
- Quality check of safety drawings
- Coordinate and ensure that the drawing process from PDMS Design to PDMS Draft is ongoing/working
- Participation in area meetings and input to the area teams
- Quality check of the PDMS model to ensure that the safety requirements are implemented
- Input to the package engineers on the miscellaneous safety equipment package design requirements
- Ensure that location of safety equipment (including hydrants) is according to safety requirements
- Identify requirements for misc. safety equipment
- Preparation of TQs and NCRs related to area technical safety issues
- Perform evaluations about fire and explosion loads, area classification etc.
- Ensure that the safety strategy is implemented in the area design

Mandatory Work Experience required:
- Min. 5 years working experience with the work tasks listed above
- Min. 5 years working experience in Greenfield offshore Detail projects with the work tasks listed above
- Working experience from Norwegian Sector
- Working experience as a Technical Safety Engineer in Area team
- Detail knowledge of NORSOK safety requirements (S-001)
- Detail knowledge of Statoil requirements (TR1055)
Mandatory Qualifications required:
- Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team
- Multidiscipline understanding
- Good communication skills
- Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
- Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
- Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing, Norwegian is preferable
- Independent user in Navisworks or PDMS to extract and read necessary information
- Bachelors Degree
