Topsides Site Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities
The Estimator/Quantity Surveyor is responsible for Topsides Site Estimating and Quantity Verification for the Fabrication of the Topsides, Integration, Appurtenance Integration, Hook-up and commissioning of the Topsides Structure:

More specific functions include the following:

• Payment Certification Verification
• Quantity verification per the Bill of Quantities
• Maintenance of a variance Quantity log
• Negotiating of new scope quantity rates
• Maintaining accurate assessment of the incurred value of work completed
• Maintain the Method of Measurement Documentation
• Maintain the Bill of Quantity Pre-Amble Documentation
• Assist in the assessment of all site related change Orders
• Develop all site related in-house Ad-Hoc Estimates
• Maintain an accurate basis of Estimate for all estimates developed
• Utilization of NORSOK Z-014 for all Estimates in line with the agreed Construction Work Package Developed

Primary Functions:

• Payment Certificate Verification
• Change Management Verification
• Quantity Verification (Value of Work Verification)
• Ad Hoc Estimates and assessments
• Meetings , Documentation Maintenance

Qualifications
• Professional Engineer
• P. Tech, Bachelor of Engineering
• PQS Quantity Surveyor or CEC Certified Estimator
• Project Management Professional - PMP or Equivalent
• AACEI Certification – CEP (Certified Estimating Professional)

Experience:

• 10 years of relevant Quantity Surveying or Estimating Experience in a large Project Environment
• 5 Years of Bill of Quantity Management
• 10 Years of Oil and Gas experience

Skills & Abilities

• Proficient with use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
