Description
NSB is looking for an Offshore Logistics Coordinator to:
- Ensure Safety, Health and Environmental performance within the offshore Logistics operation
- Coordinate safe and efficient marine and helicopter operations
- Support vessel activities to include the timely arrival of required deck/ bulk cargos and provision of effective vessel stand-by support
- Helicopter activities including helicopter arrivals/departures, personnel movements, offshore security, helicopter utilization/scheduling, fuel inventories and helicopter tracking
- Materials handling and movements
- Administrative support and other admin duties as required
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of drilling equipment/material to provide optimal and most cost effective support to the operation
- Ensure effective interface between MODU personnel and support vessels/aircraft
- Monitor the provision of weather forecasting and ice management support to the operation
- Ensure that effective procedures and safe work practices are developed and deployed for all Logistics activities
- Monitor all SIMOPS as related to the MODU, support vessels and helicopter operations

Qualifications
- 10 years related experience in the oil/petrochemical industry, preferably offshore or remote environment
- Proven planning, coordination and cost management skills
- Highly effective communication skills (written & oral) and be able to communicate using electronic medium
- Detailed knowledge of air and marine logistics
- Detailed knowledge of policies and procedures related to specific accountabilities
- Working knowledge of materials control & associated inventory management systems
- Working knowledge of catering and accommodations management
- Working knowledge of drilling and marine equipment
- Certified in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) in Air, Sea and Road
- Have a valid Offshore Basic Survival Training (BST)
